Coffee, love & human connections.

I got married last week in Portugal, at Moinho Dom Quixote in Azóia, nestled in the hills of Sintra, with a stunning view of the Atlantic Ocean. Now, you might be thinking, "What does this have to do with June And July?" or "Why is this even relevant?"

Well, let me tell you – Portugal is where my coffee roasting journey began. It's also like our second home, filled with amazing friends. The wedding spot holds a special place for me because it was where I did my very first consulting project back in 2023. We completely revamped the coffee menu, came up with new drinks, and trained the staff. It was more than just a job – it was an experience at a magical place with lovely people.

And then, to top it off, we celebrated our love in the very same place where my coffee journey started, in a spot where I had worked alongside an incredible team. It's a reminder that it’s all about connections. Human connections, values, passion – and, of course, coffee ❤️.

And one more thing – we had the absolute BEST pastéis de nata from O Pãozinho das Marias. Seriously, they are the best, you just need to look at them. And guess what? Yep, this is yet another great connection. Vitor, the guy behind these incredible pastries, is the one who let me hang out in his bakery and watch him work his magic while making those little masterpieces. It's all about those moments and people that make everything even sweeter.
